Adam and Emily are in the Cubs and Beavers clubs near where we live and this time Adam’s group has been invited to go Bell-Boating on Scotsman’s Flash down the road and Emily has been offered a place too. So, suitably excited wearing clothes we’re not too bothered about them ruining they set off and despite the boats being crewed by little people, it’s surprising how far their voices carry across open water.
As they return, it turns out their favourite part was jumping in and being held aloft by their floatation devices before clambering back on board. And there’s me thinking the whole point of boats was to keep you dry! But what do I know!
